Patient Focus Group Minutes April 2017Patient Focus Group Minutes June 2017Skerne Medical Group - Patient Focus Group

The practice has a Patient Focus Group which meets at Harbinson House Surgery quarterly. The Group:

  • helps the practice understand the views of Patients on health related issues.
  • allows the practice to discuss information with Patients on the possible impacts and priorities of Clinical Commissioning.
  • encourages Patient involvement in the practice.

The information obtained through this group ensures changes we make are patient focused and relevant to our practice population.  By working together we will continue to develop and improve the services we are able to offer patients.

Our patient group needs to be representative of Skerne Medical Group patient list and therefore we are still seeking patients in the 16 to 45 age group – both male and female and also patients registered at our branch surgeries especially Trimdon Colliery.

If you would like to be involved - or if you would just like to discuss what it entails - then please contact the Practice Business Manager via the Harbinson House surgery on 01740 620300.

New members are most welcome.

Alternatively if attending meetings are not for you why not join our "virtual" group, members of this group will be contacted by e-mail from time to time and asked questions on how we can improve the services the practice provides and how they perceive our surgery and staff.
